MGM Electric Motors celebrates 10th anniversary!

During these 10 years MGM North American branch evolved: starting from common distributor, it becomes protagonist in north American market, with a proper staff of Engineers who work even locally in case of necessity or support to distributors and main customers in Canada and US.

MGM Electric motors is the main result of a great worldwide success: his history is made by challenges, efforts and successes of course.

Obtaining cCSAus certification has been of course the first step to this big result, by which everything has been possible, as well as the decision to produce NEMA motors together with standard motors, and of course obtaining CSA homologation in our laboratory in order to be able to make internal security and efficiency tests in full autonomy.

The great quality of MGM motors is measured also on this.

To celebrate this event, MGM moteurs Electriques director, Eng. Salvatore Mantuano, organized a party, with the presence of Mrs. Lucia Ghieri and Eng. Edoardo Ghieri, inviting all the employees, including the first employee of the branch and several others important guests.

We completed the project “Customs in Company”

After obtaining AEOF certification in 2011, MGM started, few weeks ago, to operate in customs domiciliation procedure with an internal customs warehouse, and it obtained the status of Authorized Exporter and Shipper.

- Authorized Economic Operator – Reg. Ce 187/06: Community recognized certification (already shared by many other European Partners) which guarantee the reliability and the security on international logistic chain.
- Domiciliation Procedure – Reg. Ce 2913/92: thanks to this benefit the goods don’t pass the customs. Company can provide directly to customs declaration, as direct owner of the authorization. The time for this customs operation is reduced to 10minutes for export.
- Authorized Exporter Status – Reg. Ce 2454/93: this authorization allows to “declare the preferential origin” of the goods directly on commercial invoices, replacing the EUR1.

AEO certification offers several advantages, as:
- further simplifications and better relationship with customs authorities;
- essentially cut off of controls and higher speedy for customs operations;
- possibility to choose the place where doing the customs clearance;
- international reciprocal recognising of certification of customs liability and security;
- security growth up and better communication between the logistic chain parts.

Customs clearance procedures offer several advantages as:
- customs clearance in our warehouses, avoiding the transit of the goods at customs;
- arrange customs declaration in real-time;
- Telematic dialog with the informatics system of Customs Agency;
- Receive “telematic customs clearance” directly from customs exit and in real-time, for export operation;
- Times for customs operation: sure and short.

Authorized Exporter Status offers these advantages:
- full control of origin declaration;
- declaration direct in the invoice of preferential origin of products, avoiding to issue EUR1 certification;
- awareness of own declarations

Cribis D&B gave to MGM motori elettrici S.pA.  for the tenth consecutive year, the “D&B Rating 1″, the judgement indicating the best level of economic and financial reliability for a company.

The evaluation comes out from a careful analysis on Company balance sheet of last 5years and other 1500 different parameters evaluation, including the age of the Company, the employment growth, the timeliness payment, the economic-financial reliability and, more than this, its regularity during time.

This recognition is the solidity confirmation of our Company, always focused on excellence, innovation, quality of course and a real sound financial management.

We are pleased to inform you that it has been completed the re-roofing of our main plant in Serravalle Pistoiese (PT) with the installation of photovoltaic panels.
The plant consists of approximately 1800 panels and it came into operation on the 18th February 2014.
The main planned goal is to cover approximately 80% of the total electricity consumption of our company which will be produced by the photovoltaic panels.

On  the 13^th-15^th November of 2013 at Rome there was the first meeting of CEMEP, the European Committee of the Manufacturers of Electrical machines and Power electronics.
This meeting was sponsored by MGM.
